Job summary

Dorset Police invites applications for a Payroll Services Lead to manage payroll processes and service delivery across Devon & Cornwall Police and Dorset Police. The role is based at Exeter or Winfrith, with hybrid working and a minimum of one day in the office per week.

You will lead the payroll team, ensure data accuracy, and maintain compliance with policies while collaborating with the Payroll & Pension Data Analyst and the Head of Payroll & Pensions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a payroll environment is essential.
• Strong IT skills and experience with computerised payroll or financial systems.
• Ability to lead or supervise a payroll team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll processes and service delivery across two forces.
• Lead and support the payroll team to ensure accurate and efficient service.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, statutory requirements, and policies.
