Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is recruiting a Payroll Services Advisor (Band 3) based at the Parklands Office in Stoke to support payroll for around 45,000 employees.

You will process payroll, handle employee queries, and contribute to the smooth operation of ESR/Oracle systems, ensuring accurate pay and pensions administration. A NHS background and payroll qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous NHS payroll/expenses experience.
• Ability to handle complex payroll calculations.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; confident with IT systems.
• GCSEs including English and Maths; payroll qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing and administration for a designated portfolio.
• Respond to staff pay queries via multiple channels.
• Provide a high-standard pensions service and HR/payroll admin.
• Use ESR/Oracle payroll systems and adhere to statutory rules.
