Job summary

Anglian Water seeks a proactive People and Payroll Services Advisor to deliver accurate, compliant payroll across SAP Payroll and Workday. You will ensure timely payments and provide expert guidance on payroll processes while collaborating with HR, Finance and external providers.

This fixed-term role (18 months) offers full-time hours, hybrid working in Huntingdon, and a strong focus on continuous improvement, customer service and process efficiencies within the payroll function.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll administration and processing.
• Strong understanding of PAYE, HMRC requirements and payroll legislation.
• Experience handling confidential employee data.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll activities with accuracy and compliance.
• Manage lifecycle payroll activities (starters/movers/leavers).
• Maintain employee data across Workday and SAP.
• Handle statutory payments and deductions (maternity, paternity, shared parental pay).
• Support pension administration, payroll audits and statutory reporting.
