Job summary

The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is seeking a Payroll and Pensions Officer to join our growing function in Greater London. This newly created role will support two payrolls serving around 700 employees and associates, working closely with our outsourced provider and shaping our payroll and pensions service.

You will ensure accurate, timely processing while advising colleagues on payroll and pension matters, maintaining confidentiality and integrity across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Solid end-to-end UK payroll experience, with knowledge of pension administration, tax, NI and auto-enrolment.
• Ability to check calculations, investigate anomalies and resolve issues before sign-off.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise across two payrolls and monthly deadlines.
• Professional, customer-focused communication and discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll for two payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide expert guidance on payroll and pension queries to colleagues across the organisation.
• Liaise with outsourced payroll provider to maintain smooth operations and service quality.
