Payroll & Pensions Coordinator (Maternity Leave Cover)

About the Role

At BrisDoc, we provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare services. We are seeking a Payroll & Pensions Coordinator to support changes within our business. The successful candidate will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll and pensions for our staff.

Key skills include attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to handle sensitive financial information. Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll: Manage the entire payroll process, including timesheets, new starters and leavers, salary adjustments, overtime, statutory payments, and deductions. Support payments for Self-Employed colleagues.
  2. Pensions: Submit information on starters and leavers to NHS Pensions via Pensions Online (POL). Manage submissions for NEST pension scheme for auto-enrolment.
  3. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate payroll and pension records, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to verify payroll data and resolve queries efficiently.
  5. Support: Assist with month-end and year-end payroll activities and prepare financial reports.
  6. Troubleshoot: Address payroll and pension queries from colleagues and external agencies.
  7. Other duties: Perform additional tasks as required to support the business.
