Job summary

Cezanne HR is seeking a Payroll Executive to deliver expert payroll advice and end-to-end processing for 1,500+ employees, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation. You will work with clients to tailor solutions and liaise with HMRC as needed, while collaborating with product and development teams to resolve complex payroll issues.

The role requires 2+ years of payroll experience, proficiency in payroll software and MS Office, and strong client-facing service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of payroll administration experience with up-to-date payroll law knowledge.
• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• CIPP qualification or payroll certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' payroll systems and identify improvement areas.
• Deliver end-to-end payroll processing for 1,500+ employees monthly/weekly; file HMRC reports.
• Handle Tax-year End – P11Ds, P60s & PSAs.
• Communicate with clients professionally and timely.
• Ensure adherence to legislation and create ad-hoc reports.
• Liaise with HMRC when required.
• Collaborate with internal product and development teams on payroll issues.
• Identify improvement potentials for internal payroll processes.
• Implement new features per business requirements.
