Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our finance team in a multi-site hospitality setting. You will take ownership of accurate and timely payroll processing, handling salaries, deductions, tronc and statutory payments.

Responsibilities include reconciling payroll to rotas, producing staff cost reports, maintaining payroll records, and supporting PAYE, NI and auto-enrolment compliance. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• End to end payroll administration experience with PAYE, NI and auto-enrolment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Experience with payroll systems (Fourth Hospitality) desirable.
• Hospitality, multi-site or tronc experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll, including salaries, deductions, tronc and statutory payments.
• Reconcile payroll to rotas and prepare staff cost reports.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support PAYE and other reconciliations.
• Handle payroll queries from employees, managers, HR and external providers.
• Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and internal deadlines.
