Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing for a public sector workload across multiple payrolls. You will join a large payroll team of 15 and contribute to accurate, timely payroll delivery.

Work Monday–Friday, 37 hours per week, with 1 day in the office and flexible home-working (Wednesday). I-Trent experience is desirable and the role may become permanent.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Public sector payroll experience preferred.
• Familiarity with UK payroll rules and regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll for multiple payrolls (across 12 payrolls).
• Collaborate within a 15-person payroll team.
• Manage sick cover and ongoing payroll duties.
• Participate in one-stage interview via Teams.

Job description

This role consists of someone that can come in and hit the ground running whilst being able to process high end-to-end payroll. Working within a large team of 15 people.

1500 (across 12 payrolls)

System: I-Trent (desirable)

Monday - Friday 37 hours a week

1 day a week in the office rest home based (flexible) Wednesday.

Duration: Ongoing as its covering sick, there is the potential for it to go perm

Interview: 1 stage and will be over teams

Team:15 in the payroll, Head of ,Dep head, System admin,3 team leaders , 8 payroll officers.

The vetting will take around 1-2 months
