Job summary

Portfolio Credit Control is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to own end-to-end payroll processing for stores and head office teams across the UK and Ireland, with hands-on involvement in onboarding and employee records management. You will also support day-to-day HR queries while coordinating outsourcing for EMEA payrolls.

You will work to ensure payroll accuracy, HMRC compliance, and pensions administration, leveraging Moorepay and Excel for data handling.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a payroll team and ensuring accurate payroll processing.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation, pensions and statutory payments.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills with data accuracy.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data handling and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end payroll processes.
• Experience with Moorepay payroll system is preferred.

• Manage payroll changes including new starters, leavers, and contract amendments.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC legislation, pensions, and statutory payments.
• Reconcile payroll reports and liaise with Finance for payment approvals.

• Outsource EMEA payroll to a bureau provider for 6 different countries.

About the Role

As a Payroll Supervisor, you’ll take ownership of processing for stores and head office teams. You’ll also get hands-on exposure to a variety of duties – from onboarding and employee record management to supporting day-to-day HR queries. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to handle end to end payroll in the UK and Ireland whilst in conjunction with outsourcing the EMEA payrolls for the business.
