BAM UK&I is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll functions within a dynamic People Services team. This pivotal role involves managing the entire payroll process, ensuring compliance with UK laws, and leading a capable team. The successful candidate will need strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, contributing to efficient payroll operations while fostering a collaborative workplace culture.
BAM UK&I is seeking an experienced payroll manager to oversee our payroll functions.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our People Services team on an initial 18-month FTC.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and internal standards. You will lead and develop a small payroll team, work with existing manual processes, and identify opportunities to streamline or automate tasks.
The successful candidate will confidently handle complex and escalated issues, working cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure efficient payroll operations.
Experience with payroll systems such as ePayfact and iTrent is desirable but not essential.
