Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a growing international business to recruit a Payroll Manager into a standalone role offering autonomy, variety and the opportunity to lead payroll across the UK and overseas operations.

Based in Wirral with the option to work from home one day per week, you will own end-to-end payroll, ensure compliance, handle inquiries and support process improvements within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

Job description

Are you an experienced Payroll professional who enjoys taking full ownership of the payroll function? We're partnering with a growing international business to recruit a Payroll Manager into a standalone position offering autonomy, variety and the opportunity to support payroll operations across multiple countries.

Client Details

Reporting into the Finance team, the Payroll Manager will take responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process across multiple entities, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time every month. You'll manage payroll across the UK and smaller overseas operations, with future opportunities to become involved in additional international payrolls as the business continues to grow. This is primarily a payroll-focused role, although there will be opportunities to support the wider finance team with payroll-related and administrative tasks where required.

The key responsibilities of the Payroll Manager Include:
  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.

A successful Payroll Manager should have:
