Job summary

Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead its payroll function and ensure accurate, compliant processing for monthly and weekly payrolls. The role oversees payroll operations, HMRC compliance, and payroll staff development in a supportive, hybrid environment.

You will manage starters, leavers, salary changes and benefits, while driving process improvements and collaboration with stakeholders and external providers. CIPP is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing or supervising a payroll function.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements.
  • Experience using payroll software and HR systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • CIPP qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Role Overview
