Reed Bath is recruiting a Payroll Manager on a part-time basis (12 hours per week) to lead the payroll transformation from outsourced to in-house, supporting a new HR and payroll system.

You will work with HR and Finance, oversee testing, and be the payroll expert for ongoing processing, with hybrid working and a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

This flexible role is ideal for a senior payroll professional seeking strategic responsibility with reduced hours.

• Significant end-to-end payroll experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for over 550 employees.
• Lead payroll implementation and transition projects.
• Ensure payroll compliance with HMRC and statutory requirements.
• Manage pension administration and auto-enrolment activities.
• Complete payroll reconciliations and reporting.
• Produce payroll reports, forecasts and audit information.
• Act as the key contact for payroll and pension queries.
• Drive continuous improvements to payroll processes and systems.

A well-established organisation on the outskirts of Bath is seeking a Payroll Manager to take ownership of payroll during an exciting period of transformation. This is a rare opportunity to lead the transition from an outsourced payroll model to a fully in-house function while supporting the implementation of a new HR and payroll system.

Working closely with HR, Finance and external consultants, you will become the organisation's payroll expert, helping to shape processes, oversee testing and ensure a successful payroll transition. Once transitioned the postholder will the be responsible for the ongoing processing of the payroll.
