Job summary

DHL Germany is seeking a payroll hub analyst to manage payroll accounting for the Midlands operation. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working and a 37.5-hour week across five days.

A focus on accurate timecard checks, overtime, and payment processing supports multidisciplinary teams in making informed decisions. Responsibilities include reporting from SMART TIME, handling pay queries, and ensuring compliance with payroll policies.

Qualifications

• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills - Excel, Word.
• Working knowledge of payroll/statutory legislation.
• Ability to gather and correlate correct data.
• Ability to apply DHL financial policies to a limited range of activities.

Responsibilities

• Checking of employee timecards and communication of any exceptions to operations contacts.
• Ensure overtime and absence is recorded on Kronos.
• Complete, obtain authorisation and send SDP/BACs forms for emergency payments where required.
• Run reports on a routine basis to extract information from SMART TIME and report information to finance.
• Support with any same-day payments that are required.
• Handle any pay queries from employees.

Payroll Hub Analyst

Contract Type: 12-month FTC

Location: Midlands (hybrid working)

Working pattern is 37.5 hours a week over 5 days, 25 days holiday, potential bonus

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
