Payroll Specialist

Rate: £30 per hour

Duration: 4-day project from 8th to 13th May

Location: Liverpool Street

A company based in Liverpool Street is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a temporary project spanning 4 days, paying up to £30 per hour. The position starts on Thursday, 8th May, and runs until Thursday, 13th May. Candidates must be available for the full duration due to payroll deadlines.

The role involves claiming back foreign worker tax for contractors who have worked in Germany, requiring knowledge of both UK and German tax systems. The candidate will need expertise in claiming back tax for 52 weeks, with a focus on Appendix 5, FPS payroll, and double entry accounting.

The ideal candidate will have an excellent eye for detail, experience with live Sage payroll systems, and a strong understanding of Appendix 5. The work has a tight deadline of 4 weeks, so the ability to work under pressure is essential.
