Job Opportunity: Payroll Specialist (Temporary Project)

A company based in Liverpool Street is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a temporary project lasting 4 days, with a pay rate of up to £30 per hour. The project will start on Thursday, 8th May and end on Thursday, 13th May. All applicants must be available for the entire duration due to payroll processing deadlines.

The role involves claiming back foreign worker tax for contractors who have worked in Germany, covering both UK and German tax obligations. The candidate should be experienced in handling tax claims for 52 weeks, with expertise in Appendix 5, FPS payroll, and double entry accounting.

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, experience with live Sage payroll systems, and a strong understanding of Appendix 5. Given the tight deadline, the ability to work efficiently under pressure is essential.
