Job summary

Epwin Group is seeking a motivated Data Analyst / Administrator Graduate to join our Payroll Team. This graduate role offers hands-on experience in payroll administration, data management, and business analysis within a large organisation.

You will support the team with accurate input and analysis of payroll data, administration tasks and fleet administration, developing strong analytical and reporting skills for a long-term career in payroll, data analytics, or business support.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified (or working towards) in a relevant subject such as Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Analytics, HR, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using Excel functions.
  • Previous administration experience from placements, internships, part-time roles, or university projects.
  • Interest in payroll, HR systems, business reporting, or data analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately input payroll-related figures and employee data into payroll systems.
  • Analyse and validate payroll information for accuracy and compliance.
  • Record and monitor employee absences, checking information against payroll records.
  • Manage payroll email inboxes and respond to employee queries professionally.
  • Maintain and file electronic documents using Microsoft Office.
  • Support fleet administration activities, including organisation and management of fuel cards.
  • Produce and maintain reports using Excel and other Microsoft applications.
  • Assist with data cleansing, reporting, and payroll-related analysis.
  • Support the Payroll Team with general administrative duties and ongoing projects.
  • Communicate effectively with employees and managers via telephone and email.
