Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is hiring a Payroll Coordinator for the Hinkley Point C site near Bridgwater, Somerset. You’ll join the MEH Alliance to coordinate payroll, maintain accurate employee records, process payroll forms, generate reports and support payroll queries to deliver a flawless employee experience.

This full-time role is primarily site-based with some flexibility, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and development opportunities within a major UK infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Experience in payroll administration or payroll support advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating payroll trackers, ensuring employee information is accurate and up to date.
• Collecting, logging and distributing payroll forms, including holiday, absence, lodge and pay query documentation.
• Producing payroll reports and supporting the creation of payroll metrics and management information.
• Assisting with payroll-related inductions and providing administrative support including document management, spreadsheets and meeting notes.
• Responding to payroll queries and supporting the wider payroll team to deliver an excellent employee experience.
