Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Senior Payroll Administrator to join the People Centre, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing while supporting colleagues across the business.

The role offers hybrid working with two office days per week, based in Warrington, Cheshire, or Devon (Plymouth). You will own complex cases, guide team members, and contribute to critical national security defence programmes.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll environments with weekly or monthly cycles.
• Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and complex spreadsheets.
• Experience maintaining employee data in busy administrative settings.
• Experience supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge within a team.

Responsibilities

• Managing complex payroll and people administration cases to successful resolution.
• Supporting weekly payroll activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
• Maintaining employee records and ensuring data remains up to date.
• Providing expert guidance on payroll and people processes to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Leading by example and supporting Payroll Administrators to drive high standards.
