Michael Page Finance is helping to recruit a Payroll Clerk for a Doncaster site. The role handles end-to-end payroll processing with a 30k-35k salary, and includes two days per week home working plus on-site parking.

The successful candidate will benefit from study support for relevant payroll qualifications and other benefits. You will join a team responsible for weekly and monthly payrolls, RTI submissions, and payslip production, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and internal

• Proven track record of working in payroll.
• Recent experience of processing payroll from cradle to grave.
• Live within a commutable distance to Doncaster.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payroll from start to finish.
• Manage new starters, leavers and payroll amendments.
• Calculate overtime, bonuses, holiday and statutory payments.
• Process PAYE, National Insurance and pension deductions.
• Complete RTI submissions and payroll reporting.
• Produce P45s, P60s and payslips.
• Reconcile payroll and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle employee payroll queries.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal procedures.
• Support payroll year-end processes and audits.

As Payroll Clerk you will be working as part of a team, and will be responsible for processing your own payrolls. Duties will include, but will not be limited to:

• Processing weekly and monthly payroll from start to finish
• Managing new starters, leavers and payroll amendments
