Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager in Warrington to lead end-to-end UK payroll for approximately 700 employees and oversee the benefits portfolio. You will work closely with Finance and HR to ensure accurate, compliant payroll and effective reward governance.

You will drive improvements to payroll and benefits platforms, manage external providers, and deliver accurate reporting to senior stakeholders while maintaining strong data controls.

Qualifications

• End-to-end UK payroll delivery experience.
• Experience as lead payroll specialist within an organisation.
• Experience administering employee benefits.
• Experience managing annual pay review processes including governance and payroll implementation.
• Experience producing payroll, reward and workforce analytics for senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end monthly payroll for ~700 UK-based employees.
• Act as the payroll SME and primary contact for payroll matters.
• Ensure payroll is accurate, compliant and on time each month.
• Lead payroll checks, audits, reconciliations and approvals.
• Maintain benefits portfolio administration and relationships with brokers and providers.
• Produce regular headcount, payroll costs and benefits reporting for senior leaders.
