Job summary

TC Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join the TC MMG team. The role offers hybrid and flexible working after probation, with 20–35 hours weekly across either part-time or full-time patterns, and a salary of £23,000–£28,000 pro rata.

You will support a varied client portfolio, process payrolls accurately, maintain data confidentiality and contribute to delivering a high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing, ideally in a payroll bureau or practice.
• Experience with weekly and monthly payrolls.
• Familiar with BrightPay payroll software.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Process payrolls accurately across weekly to monthly frequencies.
• Validate and exchange payroll data ensuring confidentiality.
• Support pension administration and auto-enrolment compliance.
• Provide excellent client service with timely payroll support.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to meet deadlines and standards.
• Own assigned payrolls and maintain accuracy and accountability.
