Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our work-based learning team. The role covers Payroll Administrator Level 3, Payroll Assistant Manager Level 5, and leadership qualifications, with other programmes as needed.

You will plan and deliver online or blended learning, support apprentices to develop skills, and prepare learners for assessment. The post offers flexible working options, remote-strong tasks, and occasional travel to delivery locations in

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering work-based learning or similar programmes.
• Experience with payroll legislation and apprenticeship standards.
• Assessor qualification at Level 3 or willingness to start within probation.
• Strong organisation and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging online or blended learning sessions.
• Support apprentices to develop occupational knowledge, skills and behaviours.
• Prepare learners for assessment and contribute to curriculum planning.
• Maintain accurate learner records in line with requirements and quality assurance.
