Job summary

Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Specialist Apprenticeship Support Officer to help onboarding, monitor progress and support retention across the Workforce Skills and Employment curriculum.

You will coordinate compliant onboarding, track learner progress and identify risks to retention, with timely interventions. The role involves checking learner records, GDPR compliance, and reporting to funders, across multiple bases in Leicestershire.

Qualifications

• Level 2 English and mathematics required with confident digital skills.
• Experience checking and quality assuring learner records against funding and compliance.
• Experience in education, training or apprenticeship administration and compliance.
• Ability to support onboarding and enrolment processes and verify documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliant onboarding and learner documentation checks.
• Schedule progress reviews with apprentices and employers and capture actions.
• Maintain and quality assure learner records for GDPR and funding.
• Use learner information to identify eligibility, compliance or support needs.
