Portfolio Payroll are partnering with an expanding accountancy practice in Blackburn seeking an experienced payroll candidate to join their team. The role focuses on managing client payrolls within a busy office and supporting the growing client portfolio.

You will handle high-volume payroll tasks, provide payroll advice by phone and email, and work to tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy. The position offers hybrid working, flexitime, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Client payroll experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy setting.
• Strong Excel skills for payroll processing and reporting.
• Experience handling high-volume payroll tasks and deadlines.

Portfolio Payroll are currently partnering with a growing accountancy practice in Blackburn that are looking for an experienced payroll candidate to join their business.

They are increasing their client portfolio and are ideally looking for an experienced bureau/client payroll candidate to help in their growth.

Key Duties/Tasks

• Client payroll experience

• Technical skills in payroll such as relevant systems & strong excel skills
• Support the busy payroll department

• High volume and fast paced role
• Managing your own portfolio of clients
• Client payroll experience ideally

• Provide comprehensive advice to employees in relation to payroll queries over the phone and by email
• Working to multiple deadlines
• Manual and automated calculations of tax and any other deductions
