Job description

VANRATH are pleased to be partnered with a leading organisation based in Belfast, who are recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join their team on an initial interim contract for 12 months with potential for extension. This role can offer an experienced payroll professional the next step in their career within an excellent company.

The Ideal Person

  • At least 1 years experience in end to end payroll with the ability to carry out tasks with minimum supervision
  • 5 GCSE's to include Maths and English Language or Equivalent
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations and laws

Responsibilities

  • Processing monthly payrolls, processing overtimes, promotions and relevant allowances.
  • Providing support in the processing of HMRC transactions including in-year and end-of-year forms.
  • Identifying and rectifying discrepancies within payroll.
  • Processing transactions promptly and accurately.
  • Ensuring employee records are both accurate and up to date.
  • Providing support to the processing of statutory and voluntary deductions, reconciliations and payment to external agencies third parties within set deadlines.
