Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Wath-upon-Dearne on a 12-month, full-time basis. You’ll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, in line with statutory requirements and company policies, while maintaining confidentiality.

Based in our shared services office, you’ll manage onboarding, leavers, data checks, and maintain My Employees Service platform, coordinating across IT systems to support our on-site teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic.
  • Good communicator with interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the My Employees Service platform.
  • General administrating - updating HR Net records.
  • On-boarding of new starters to the payroll system.
  • Processing leavers.
  • Stitch documents together & checking data.
  • Work co-operatively across multiple IT systems in support of our operational teams on site.
  • Any other reasonable request by the line manager.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team based at Callflex Business Park on a temporary basis (12 months). This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package .

You will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees in compliance with statutory requirements and company policies, while maintaining confidentiality and contributing to employee satisfaction and organizational financial integrity.

What will you deliver?
  • Maintain the My Employees Service platform.

Who are we looking for?
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in payroll processing and administration.
  • Able to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision, as and when required.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong work ethic.
  • Good communicator with interpersonal skills and ability to build strong working relationships.

This role includes a Basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
