As a Payroll Administrator with Sopra Steria you will process and coordinate all aspects of payroll and pensions on behalf of the Business. Our payroll team process the monthly payroll for circa 7,000 employees in line with company timescales and provide a customer focused service. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you will be doing:

  • Process, coordinate and input information from the beginning to Bacs creation.
  • Coordinate a variety of company pension schemes, which include NHS, My Civil Service Pension, LGPS and a range of current and historic defined benefit and defined contribution schemes.
  • Coordinate auto-enrolment payments and ensure any pension contribution changes are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Make sure all company benefit data is calculated and processed accurately which includes payments of holiday pay and a wide range of flexible benefits across salary sacrifice and non-salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Balance the administration of your workload with high standards of customer service.

What you will bring:

  • Knowledge of supporting a payroll team with processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge of up to date statutory and legislative regulations in relation to payroll such as tax, national insurance, pensions and sick pay etc.
  • Must be a phenomenal teammate and have a caring attitude towards colleagues
  • The ability to tackle tight deadlines in a busy environment.
  • Have a good level of digital literacy including use of MS Office Applications (particularly Excel).

Referral Bonus: £500
Salary offered will be in line with experience and development needs.
