Job summary

JGA Recruitment Group Ltd in Stockport is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage a portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You'll calculate PAYE and NI, perform reconciliations with Finance, and respond to payroll queries from clients while meeting deadlines. UK payroll legislation updates and umbrella payroll experience are part of the role; CIPP qualification or progression encouraged.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of payroll experience.
• Solid understanding of UK payroll, PAYE and National Insurance.
• Umbrella payroll experience is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication.
• Confident dealing directly with clients.
• CIPP qualification or working towards a qualification would be advantageous.
• Positive, enthusiastic and keen to develop a long‑term career in payroll.
