Job summary

Search Consultancy is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join a busy, growing team in Sherburn-In-Elmet (LS25). This role focuses on processing weekly payroll for approximately 70-160 employees, resolving payroll queries and ensuring accurate payments.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of payroll experience, strong numerical skills, good IT abilities with spreadsheets, and the ability to work to deadlines.

• Someone organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines
• A great team player who can also work independently
• Experience with weekly payroll and Sage 50 is a bonus!

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly payroll from start to finish for approximately 70-160 employees
• Managing payroll queries and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time
• Processing holiday pay, pensions, statutory payments, expenses and deductions
• Setting up new starters and maintaining accurate employee records
• Supporting HR administration, staff inductions and employment contracts
• Using Sage 50 Payroll and Accounts

We're looking for an organised, detail-focused Payroll Administrator to join a busy and growing team in an exciting, fast-paced industry!

What will you be doing?

• Processing weekly payroll from start to finish for approximately 70-160 employees

• Managing payroll queries and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time

• Processing holiday pay, pensions, statutory payments, expenses and deductions

• Setting up new starters and maintaining accurate employee records

• Supporting HR administration, staff inductions and employment contracts

• Using Sage 50 Payroll and Accounts

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, with occasional additional Saturday and evening work on a rota basis during busier months. Additional working hours are paid separately.
