Job description

Payroll Adviser - 31k-34k salary DOE, office full-time for training (6 months) then hybrid working, company based in Maidstone.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage an allocated portfolio of payroll clients, working within a team to meet deadlines and ensure the accurate and efficient processing of payrolls, including monthly, weekly, bi-weekly, and four-weekly pay runs.
2. Ensure all internal and external payroll systems are accurate and up-to-date across all client records.
3. Communicate with clients via telephone and email, providing advice and guidance on payroll matters.
4. Stay informed about HMRC guidance and updates, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients when necessary.
5. Print and scan documentation, including issuing payslips, P45s, and P60s.
6. Upload monthly pension contributions via online provider portals.

Required experience:

• At least 3 years of payroll experience.
• Proficiency with Sage payroll software.
• Full UK Driving License.
