A leading education service provider seeks an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their in-house payroll team. This role involves managing payroll for 1,700 employees, ensuring compliance, and improving payroll processes in a supportive environment. The position is hybrid, requiring two days in the London office.

About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our dedicated in-house payroll team. You'll be part of a close-knit team of three, working together to deliver accurate and timely payroll for around 1,700 employees across 16 monthly payrolls.
You'll work collaboratively with our People Team and external payroll provider, proactively handle payroll queries, and help maintain best practices and compliance in all areas. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with internal teams and external payroll providers.
Calculating pay and net advances manually when needed.
Managing pension and benefit provider uploads and schedules.
Handling employee queries with a solutions-focused approach.
Ensuring data accuracy and GDPR compliance.
Supporting the production of monthly and annual reports.
Contributing to continuous improvement in payroll processes.
Please note that this role is hybrid, and based in our London Office in Bloomsbury (2 days per week).

We're looking for someone who's passionate about payroll and brings experience, energy, and a proactive attitude to the role. You'll be confident working with data, solving problems, and liaising with colleagues across the business.
What we're looking for:
Prior experience in a payroll role.
Strong understanding of pensions, salary sacrifice, HMRC compliance, and payroll legislation.
Comfortable using your initiative and meeting tight deadlines.
Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and communication skills.
A collaborative, accountable, and positive approach to teamwork.
Confidence in challenging processes and contributing to improvements.
Our Benefits:
The salary range for this role is £31,000 - £35,000 per annum.
Whilst we work in a hybrid way, with collaboration being one of our values, we'd expect you to regularly be in our well-situated London Bloomsbury office to connect with our teams in person.
