Job summary

JGA Recruitment Group Ltd is currently recruiting a Temporary Payroll Administrator to support payroll for approximately 950 employees. The role is Chorley or Liverpool with initial office-based work before moving to a hybrid pattern.

You will have proven experience in both in-house and outsourced payroll processing, strong Sage 50 Payroll knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and a high level of attention to detail. Immediate availability is preferred to cover an eight-week contract.

Temporary Payroll Administrator

Location: Chorley or Liverpool

Working Pattern: Initially office-based, with hybrid working available after an initial period

Contract: Temporary Approx 8-weeks

Rate: 16- 17 per hour PAYE

We are recruiting an experienced Temporary Payroll Administrator to provide essential payroll support covering approximately 950 employees.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident payroll professional with experience in both in-house and outsourced payroll environments, who can hit the ground running.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in both in-house and outsourced payroll administration.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage 50 Payroll.
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Available immediately or at short notice.
• Able to commute to Chorley or Liverpool for the initial office-based period.
