Job summary

Investec is hiring a Payouts Administrator in Reading to support the daily payout operations within the Payouts function. You will manage team inboxes, review documentation, and assist with payment processing while upholding high service standards for customers, suppliers and broker partners.

Our Payouts team sits with our Asset Financing Group in Reading and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional service to our customers, suppliers and broker partners. We are responsible for processing and paying out approved finance agreements, ensuring funds are released accurately and efficiently once all required documentation has been received. Working in a fast-paced environment, we manage a high volume of documentation and enquiries throughout the day. Our ability to process payouts quickly and within agreed service levels helps differentiate Investec from competitors and contributes directly to a positive customer experience.

What will I be doing?

As a Payouts Administrator, you will support the efficient day-to-day running of the Payouts function. You will be responsible for managing team inboxes, reviewing documentation, supporting payment processing activities and ensuring a consistently high standard of service is delivered to both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Payouts team inboxes, responding to queries and escalating issues where appropriate.
• Review customer documentation and Welcome Packs to ensure all required paperwork and signatures have been received and completed correctly.
• Authorise documentation within agreed approval limits.
• Support the preparation and completion of daily payment runs.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and broker partners to resolve queries promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all activities are completed in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide support on ad hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
