Job summary

Civica is seeking a Payments Team Administrator to support the Amersham-based Payments team. This role is hybrid, combining office and home working, and focuses on processing payments, handling enquiries, and maintaining smooth daily operations.

You will be the first point of contact for queries, ensuring accurate payments and professional service to patients and customers, while supporting the wider team in a busy public sector environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and distribute inbound post promptly.
  • Monitor and respond to the company information mailbox.
  • Take card payments securely over the telephone.
  • Assist with customer and patient enquiries.
  • Support daily operational activities, including Embassy and ICON processes.
  • Contact self-pay patients regarding outstanding balances.
  • Scan, file, shred, and maintain documentation.
  • Provide general administrative and office support as required.
  • Route calls and enquiries to appropriate account managers and colleagues.

As part of our Medical Billing & Collection (MBC) business, we're looking for a Payments Team Administrator to join our team in Amersham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring administrative processes run smoothly.

The Role

As a Payments Team Administrator, you'll provide key administrative support to the Payments team, helping to ensure the efficient handling of payments, enquiries, correspondence, and day-to-day office activities.

You'll be the first point of contact for many incoming queries, processing payments, supporting patients and customers, and helping maintain the smooth operation of the wider team.

What You'll Be Doing
