PayPal seeks a senior regulatory lawyer to support UK and EU payments and prudential regulation within the Regulatory Legal team, based in London or Dublin. You will advise on regulatory change, policy developments, supervisory engagement, and governance for PayPal’s regulated entities.

The role involves working with FCA, PSR, CSSF, CBI, ECB and other authorities, coordinating across a global FinTech environment, and reporting to the Head of Regulatory Legal. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years relevant experience and a Juris doctorate degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide clear, pragmatic, and solution-oriented legal advice to enable business strategy while managing legal risk.
• Participate in complex problem resolution with expert guidance on high-stakes issues and disputes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Partner with business counterparts to drive delivery of legal services.
• Manage legal risks and safeguard PayPal's interests with robust risk management frameworks.
• Escalate complex issues to senior legal leadership when appropriate.
