Job summary

Kingfisher plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Product Manager to secure, scale and continuously improve the payments foundation that underpins transactions across banners such as B&Q, Screwfix and Castorama.

You will own the payments platform roadmap, collaborate with engineering, Fraud, Risk and Data teams, and drive API-first, modular design while ensuring compliance and robust fraud controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in payments ecosystems (cards, wallets, PSPs).
• Delivering platform products in multi-brand environments.
• Balancing commercial outcomes with technical and regulatory constraints.
• Strong stakeholder management across Engineering, Architecture, Data, Fraud, Security and Compliance.
• Data-led decisions on performance, cost and fraud metrics.
• Experience with API-first or event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve a strategic payments roadmap aligned with enterprise goals.
• Own the payments platform and ensure secure, scalable payments across banners.
• Partner with architecture and engineering to shape platform strategy.
• Collaborate with Fraud Operations, Risk, and Data Science teams on fraud controls.
• Provide governance updates to senior stakeholders.
• Drive platform adoption and governance with platform vendors.
