Paysafe, a leading payments platform, seeks an independent contributor reporting to Corporate Controller, Latin America. The role focuses on finance architecture for payments, end-to-end money-flow mapping, and ERP integrations, supporting SOX controls and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in payments finance, a CPA/CA or equivalent, and bilingual Spanish/English. Hybrid London-based role with global responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA/CA or local equivalent preferred.
• 10+ years in payments finance or related roles.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience as payments SME and finance transformation lead.
• Deep understanding of payment lifecycles and settlement models.
• Experience mapping money flows and journal entries.
• SOX/compliance and controls knowledge.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Act as the finance architecture lead for new products and platform changes.
• Document end-to-end money flows from initiation to GL reporting.
• Map product/system events to accounting events and journal entries.
• Design automated journal-entry logic and interfaces to the GL.
• Create scalable reconciliation frameworks across platforms and ledgers.
• Define reconciliation ownership, frequency, and exception handling.
• Identify gaps and assess SOX and financial reporting implications.
• Lead cross-functional design workshops with Product, Eng, Ops, Treasury, Accounting, Tax, Risk, and Compliance.
• Translate complex payment flows into finance requirements and designs.
• Support ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and data platform efforts.
