Job summary

Shaype, a UK fintech, is seeking a Payments and Operations Specialist to own the UK settlement, reconciliation and payments cycle and to take on financial crime work alongside it. The role includes second-line client support and ensuring daily cut-offs, with a hybrid model requiring presence in the Glasgow office two days per week and additional days as needed.

The successful candidate will help keep the end-to-end payments flow smooth, accurate and compliant, contributing to daily operational

Job description

We're looking for a Payments and Operations Specialist to keep Shaype's UK settlement, reconciliation and payments cycle running each day, picking up financial crime work alongside it. You will own the UK daily cycle end to end: settlement, reconciliation, payments and second-line client support, delivered to daily cut-offs.

At Shaype, we prioritise a flexible working environment while valuing in-person collaboration. Our current working model includes 2 days in our Glasgow office, with an expectation of additional office days as and when required.
