Our team in Technology Strategy & Revenue Payments works to improve the efficiency of the payment system that enables millions of journeys every day across the London transport network, while maintaining high levels of customer service. We ensure customers can pay the right fare and receive excellent service.

Our work is diverse and fundamental to TfL’s financial sustainability. It includes revenue collection, procurement of the Revenue Collection Contract, improving how customers pay for travel (e.g., Oyster and Contactless), concessionary and free travel schemes, fares policy advice to the Mayor of London, and forecasting demand trends. We also aim to minimise revenue loss through fraud and chargebacks.
