About the Opportunity

You will monitor, assess, and mitigate risks related to payment transactions. Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with regulations, fraud prevention, and internal risk frameworks to safeguard the bank and our customers.

Daily Responsibilities

  1. Analyzing customer journeys, controls, and recommending improvements.
  2. Providing SME governance and control guidance in Payment Operations.
  3. Collaborating with Risk, Finance, and Compliance teams.
  4. Coordinating audits and supporting RCSAs.
  5. Reporting on Payment Operations governance.
  6. Assisting with testing and implementing new payment systems.
  7. Staying updated on industry and regulatory developments.
  8. Promoting the bank's culture and ensuring policy compliance.
  9. Completing mandatory training within specified timeframes.

Candidate Expectations

  • Experience in payments processing within banking or financial services.
  • Knowledge of UK and international payment schemes and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
