- Promote and support the Group's reward, wellbeing and benefits offer, helping colleagues understand and access the support available to them.
- Process and maintain reward, benefits, payroll and pension information accurately, ensuring records are up to date and colleagues are paid correctly and on time.
- Support the administration of pension schemes, employee benefits, mileage claims, new starters, leavers, holiday trading and other contractual changes.
- Act as a first point of contact for colleagues and managers, investigating and resolving reward, benefits, payroll and pension queries promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records and People Services systems, ensuring compliance, confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, managers and external stakeholders to support the delivery of an efficient and people-focused service.
- Support audits, investigations, reporting requirements and year-end payroll and pension activities where required.
- Assist with reviewing and improving reward, wellbeing, benefits, payroll and pension processes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Support the promotion of equality, diversity and inclusion, while ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies are adhered to.
What we're looking for:
- Experience working in a reward and benefits, payroll or pensions role with a strong customer focus.
- Experience supporting the delivery of administrative services within a busy People Services, HR or payroll environment.
- A relevant payroll, pensions, reward or benefits qualification, or equivalent experience, would be advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
- Good IT skills and confidence using and learning new systems and technologies.
- A proactive approach, with the confidence to question processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
