Job summary

BEAR Scotland is seeking a Pavement Engineer to join their team in Perth, UK. We have an exciting opportunity for a Pavement Engineer to join our existing team on a full‑time basis. Reporting to the Pavement Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out pavement designs, co‑ordinating pavement investigations and conducting/compiling technical reports for submission to Transport Scotland.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carrying out visual inspections
• Coordinating pavement investigations including rotary coring, FWD and GPR surveying
• Conducting data analysis and compiling technical reports for submission to Transport Scotland

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Hold a Degree in Civil Engineering
• Ideally bring experience within a highway maintenance environment
• Possess, or be actively working towards, a relevant professional qualification
