Job summary

The City of Doncaster Council is seeking a Pause Practitioner to join the Pause Programme at Colonnades House, Doncaster. The role involves delivering trauma-informed support to women to reduce children entering care, in a small collaborative team.

Permanent full-time position with a 37-hour week and a salary of £42,123–£46,579 per year. Applicants should have the ability to engage with diverse communities, support transformational change, and comply with enhanced DBS requirements.

Qualifications

• DBS disclosure required for appointment.
• Permanent contract and full-time hours (37 per week).
• Based at Colonnades House, Duke Street, Doncaster.
• Salary details: Grade 9 £42,123–£46,579 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Implement a range of interventions as part of an integrated package of health, therapeutic and social support.
• Work as part of a small team with a flexible, collaborative approach.
• Contribute to reducing the number of children entering care by supporting women to create positive changes.
• Deliver Pause Programme activities in line with trauma-informed practice and Pause objectives.
