Job summary

Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen is seeking a Patient Administrator to join the Administration department at Circle Health Group. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern from 06:00 to 21:00, Monday to Friday, and some weekend work may be required.

The position involves supporting the patient journey, handling bookings and queries, and ensuring safe, efficient administrative processes within a private healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at A-C or equivalent.
• Proficient in using a PC, including software and systems.
• Basic financial awareness.
• Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey.
• Ensure best practice process maps are followed to provide a professional service to patients, visitors, consultants and staff.
• Ensure all patient queries are dealt with efficiently and professionally.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing mail.
• Approve electronic bookings and update bookings received via email.
• Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure appropriate measures are taken.
