University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is seeking a Patient Catering Assistant for the LGH site. The role involves delivering meals to wards, preparing and regenerating patient meals at ward level, and working within the main kitchen and ward areas to ensure timely service in line with Food Safety guidelines.

The post requires adherence to Trust Food Safety Management Policies, accurate temperature recording, and handling washing up duties in both kitchen and ward environments.

Responsabilités

• Deliver meals to wards and departments on schedule.
• Prepare and regenerate patient meals at ward level.
• Observe Food Safety Management Systems and local Trust policies.
• Wash up in main kitchen and ward areas as required.
• Record meal temperatures and monitor safety according to protocols.
• Return used crockery and cutlery and manage waste per policies.
