Job summary

The Harborne Hospital in Birmingham is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our Hotel Services team. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) involves shifts from 06:30 to 22:00, five days out of seven, including weekends.

It is a permanent position offering £13.90 per hour plus a strong benefits package. You will help maintain patient rooms, public areas and staff spaces to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation, contributing to a welcoming, hygienic environment for patients

Qualifications

• Be aware of hygiene standards.
• Be passionate about customer care.
• Be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and healthcare staff.
• Be able to work under pressure, and with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• You’ll be passionate both patient care and cleanliness – someone who is able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
• You’ll also be comfortable working in a hospital environment and coming into contact with patients.
• Our communal areas are clean and tidy for visitors,
• To perform any tasks specifically assigned to you.
• To carry out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or designee.
• Attend mandatory training on annual basis.
