East Cheshire NHS Trust is recruiting an Administrative support role in the Emergency Department to help coordinate patient flow and ensure timely patient care. You will work closely with nursing and medical staff, using Meditech and other IT systems to track journeys from arrival to discharge.
The role emphasizes strong communication, confidentiality and ability to prioritise in a busy ED environment. A DBS check is required and visa sponsorship is not available.

To undertake a range of administrative and clerical duties, working alongside the nursing and medical workforce, to support patient tracking, and timely provision of patient care. Supporting to avoid delays ensuring safe patient care and positive patient experience both within the Emergency Department and the wider organisation.
To actively monitor the patient journey throughout ED, to ward transfer or discharge. Escalating appropriately any delays and to work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver a high quality patient focused service.
The role requires good interpersonal skills and interaction with multidisciplinary teams across the Trust to achieve the NHS Standards for Emergency Departments.
For Graduate visa holders; it is important to note that you must have a minimum of 12 months before this expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
