Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated team member to assist in patient transfers and bed management across the Emergency Department, Assessment Areas, Wards and Discharge Lounge. You will play a key role in maximising patient flow and supporting the discharge process.

Working under the Patient Flow/bed management Team, you will rotate across 7 days, with shifts between 7am and 12 MN, contributing to a caring, professional, and inclusive environment at the Oxford Road

Qualifications

• Assist and enable transfer of patients to and from the Emergency Department, Assessment Areas, Wards and Discharge Lounge, maximising patient flow.
• Includes cleaning and making of beds, assisting patients and transferring them to the appropriate place, supporting the discharge lounge.
• Must be able to work across 7 days on a rotational basis and work between the hours of 7am and 12MN.
