Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Deputy Operations Manager to support the Manager of the Day rota, oversee bed capacity and patient flow, and drive service projects. The role involves working with the divisional team, NHS partners and ICBs to deliver strategic objectives and improve performance.

The post requires extensive experience in an acute hospital environment, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a track record in planning and change

Qualifications

• Experience in an acute hospital environment.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
• Budgeting, resource planning and service-improvement delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver key objectives and targets for the division and services.
• Coordinate planning, development and implementation of service improvements and projects.
• Administer clinical governance processes and assist in risk management.
• Provide cross-cover within the Division as required.
• Collaborate with partner organisations and ICBs for service delivery.
